I just bought a hardtail (wrong size xl when i shoulda got a lrg) & then bought a lynskey ti frame large to swap over everything from the Devinci to the Lynskey. I decided to upgrade from the OEM Marzocchi Z2 to a new $1000 Fox factory 34 float fit 4. Other than almost a pound lighter, ist it overall a much better fork?

you could’ve saved yourself a fair bit of money by just dropping either the fit4 or grip2 damper into the z2

No way is it worth $1000. Especially since the fox performance is the same as factory except the stupid gold stanchions for a decent amount less.

I believe the performance elite and factory difference is just the kashima coating. The performance has other concessions

Why do you need some random internet guy confirming your 1000$ buys? Ride it, if it feels 1000$ better than current fork then it is better for you. Thats all itmatters Smile
