Can I put a newer wheelset on this older boost 141 frame?

I'll try to keep this concise, apologies if this sounds like a dumb question.
I'm getting a new wheelset for my stumpy evo and would like to put the old wheelset on my Roscoe hardtail if at all possible. (It doesn't seem likely it would work)

-This is what I want to put on the hardtail-
29er wheelset with boost 148mmx12mm thru-axle rear, and 15x110mm thru-axle front.
I can't figure out what brand the hubs are based on info from the Specialized site. The set is from a '22 Stumpy Evo comp.

-The bike I want to put them on is an '18 Trek Roscoe 8-
It had Formula DC2241 Boost141 QR rear, and Formula DC511 Boost110 front hubs.

Obviously the biggest problem is the Roscoe had the crappy boost 141 QR. And the new set is Thru-axle.
I know DT Swiss makes endcaps to convert boost 148 to boost 141 QR, but I think that only works with DT Swiss hubs, and I don't even know what brand rear hub is on that Specialized wheelset.

Is there some kind of adapter I could get to make any of this work, or is it a pointless endeavor?

Like you said End Cap Conversion Kits are brand specific (D.T. needs D.T. end caps, Hope needs Hope end caps, etc), there isn't a 'universal' end cap kit that works with any hub.

I don't know for sure but doubt your Stumpy oem hubs have specific end caps and/or are able to be converted. Irrelevant but likewise with the Trek's Formula rear hub.

Maybe a long shot but it could be worth emailing Specialized directly about the hub and if it is convertible in any way?

I reckon you're up sh#t creak without a paddle on this unless you buy another decent Boost rear wheel/ thru axle hub and the same brand end caps to convert it for the Trek.

I may shoot Specialized an email about their hubs, but like you said I'm pretty doubtful anything will come of it.

I'll just hold onto this wheelset until I eventually build a hardtail up and use them on that.

I get it's a bit frustrating. I'm sure those wheels will come in handy at some point if you hold onto them. If not for you, maybe a Buddy might need them as 141qr is used by quite a few other bike brands.
