Hi guys, I’m sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this question (I’ve never used the site before) I have a cube reaction pro hybrid in black, but I really fancy a white blue and pink colour way an the only way around that is to get it painted, are there people that will do that for you? And is it possible for an Emtb? Thanks in advance

Search around the threads and there's discussion on getting a bike painted. If you take it to a paint shop - and it depnds on the shop, but you'll most likely have to remove EVERYTHING from the frame so they can paint it properly. There are stories of shops painting over the bearings and such that were not removed or protected/taped off. So it really depends on the experience and quality of the shop you take your bike to. Expect to disassemble and remove the handlebar, fork, shock, wheels, crankset, bottom bracket, headset, saddle, seat post, chain - everything. You should expect to tape off anything where you have to re-install bearings or axles or anything where paint would be a problem yourself. An ebike is certainly possible, but it will be a much more involved process in removing the motor and all wiring to controls and battery and electrical sockets. Be warned that completely removing and reinstalling the motor, battery brackets, electrical sockets, and wiring may have an effect on your warranty unless completed at an authorized dealer or something - check first before proceeding.
You'll have to search around your local area for paint shops or automotive painting establishments and ask if they'll paint your frame and look yourself.
If you are not comfortable in completely disassembling your bike and handing it to somebody else and then completely rebuilding your bike from scratch then you have another option: You can also paint it yourself and there's a thread dedicated to this as well here: https://www.pinkbike.com/forum/listcomments/?threadid=70596&pagenum=1

but generally spray shops do many things, motorbike frames,auto parts, car bodys, wheels,
trailers, etc and as said this method involves you getting your frame stripped naked, anything
that can be removed remove it, seperate front triangle from rear if full suss, seals bearings, off!
the lot.

metal frames will usually get dipped in a bath and prepped prior to paint, so anything plastic,
off| the acid bath may disolve it.

Carbon frames, then the poor bastards will have to hand sand your frame and prep prior to paint,
so labour there will cost you.

Not sure if masking areas off yourself will help as the dip bath, prep work will remove this,
this is where speaking to whoever undertakes the work, to guage if there familiar with things,
some may only do car bodys and have no idea with bikes, sure they can prep and paint but
not neccassarily sympathetic to your frame with pivot holes, bearings etc

Some are well versed in all things, my local wheel refurbishers powder coat all manner of stuff,
they acid dip, they medium blast, they work with prepping, coating carbon, spray paint and powder coat.

I walk in chat to em with what I want, if I have a concern I mention it and they either say yeh we get this a lot,
or they listen and take it on if its a new thing for them, so talking to them is key, even if its to understand
the proccess of what they will do.

Go to your local custom motorcycle shop and ask who paints frames. They'll likely know. As others have said, expect to have the frame 100% stripped of everything when you go to talk to them about it. A good painter will be fine with it. My father-in-law is a retired body shop owner who did custom work. You have to communicate what you want and exactly what needs to be masked. If you pre-mask the bike before taking it to them, they'll likely have to remove it during prep(if they're any good), or they'll just remove it and use it as a guide for re-masking it.

If it's carbon, at least half your cost will be labour for them to sand and prep the frame (you could save some money there, DIY)
Any decent paint shop would mask it themselves, so they know it's been done properly (going to a place that specialises in bikes will know where bearings go, and mask accordingly)

It's a real luxury getting a custom painted frame, so put some thought into it before committing. It's eye-wateringly expensive, and something I've only been able to do once. That was a road bike and still a simple design, it ended up costing more than the price of the frame - multiple part MTB frame is probably even more expensive

OP's bike is a hardtail if I'm not mistaken.

A little simpler than FS, but with the extra ebike gagetry it's a very involved task.

Keep in mind that paint is stupidly expensive. The paint for my car (see profile) was $1000/gal six years ago and it's just an OEM Ford color, not an expensive aftermarket color.

And OP wants 3 different colors. Sounds $$$$$$

For reference, the paint on my road frame was all OEM car paint (most paint used for spraying bikes and cars is, obviously)
One was a Suzuki blue, one was a fairly generic glitter black used by Ford, the gold was a bit more unique and was used on 1986 Porsches. The paint itself was only about £150, what cost a lot was the masking and stencilling, interleave coats, clear coating and most was the guys labour. Think it ended up costing £1100 all in, £550 of that was just sanding the frame

Full disclosure; it was part of an insurance claim so I didn't have to pay for it
