Trance X 29 Lower Linkage?

Hi All,

Just thinking through ways to extend rear travel on the Giant Trance X 29. is the X 29 the same frame as the X 27.5?

Wondering if maybe the longer real travel of the X 27.5 is due to a longer rocker link and lower link?


If so, I believe I could purchase those parts through my giant dealership.

Interesting thought — I always wondered how much crossover there really is between the 27.5 and 29 Trance X frames. Have you had a chance to ask a Giant shop about the rocker link swap yet, or just piecing it together from geometry charts?
