@bman33: last gen admitted a longer stroke shock, so you can run it 160f-150r (I did) and the frame is so stout you can take it to the park no problem. This gen looks like it'd be the same case.
I wouldn't be surprised if this was less of a coincidence and more of a non-advertised feature.

Tech Randoms: Frame Weights, Gearboxes, & A Production Privée Prototype at the Val di Fassa EDR
I went for them after reading Aston's review and the bench testing from the german Enduro mag, and both were right.
Same modulation and maybe more power than my previous Tech3 E4, definitely more power than Code RSC. Dead consistent, very comfy ergonomics. The price was absurd for a brake that good too.
Only negative so far is a bit of slop slowly developing at the lever's pivot.
