Hey, I'm moving from Vancouver BC to the bay area (redwood city specifically) pretty soon. I'm hoping to bring a few bikes but looking for suggestions on which to bring.

-Chromag primer (160mm hardtail) vs stumpy evo... Are there steep, fast DH trails and big jump lines where I'd want the full suspension? On the other hand, if trails are more mellow the hardtail makes things more fun. Sell the hardtail and bring the stumpy?

-Are there good dirt jumps in the area? You dont need to expose your secret spots here Smile just wanna know if I should bring the DJ or not

-I've been wanting a gravel bike here in Vancouver, am I still gonna want to get one in the bay area? I'll be bringing my road bike for anything paved

Thanks in advance. Let me know if you wanna ride!

Full sus all day. Plenty of Jump lines and gnarly descents that need it around you in Redwood City. Dj is also a good thing to have but will get significantly less use than your stumpy evo.

All the different types of bikes will be necessary out here. Hardtail will be great for waterdog and bikepacking, full suspension for Santa Cruz and Pacifica, jump bike for carlmont/ Pacifica. Although I despise gravel riding, there are some great fire roads routes through the SC mountains and big sur.
