Hi

My son snapped his fluid fs24" rear triangle

The UK distributor zyrofisher have said the part isn't available anymore.

So unfortunately the bike is dead.

Due to the bespoke nature of the bike it's not like I can get a frame.and swap the parts.

Any ideas? Or just bite the bullet at break for parts

Thanks

Jake

Not sure I know what you mean by the bespoke nature making a swap impossible. Maybe pictures would help.

I'm trying to say that I'd struggle to find another frame which I could swap to.

145mm fork
120 shock
Boost front and rear

Thanks

I'm not sure where the issue lies.

There's other 24" or Junior sized bikes that are similar to this setup. As mentioned before, "Boost" is very common - that's just the hub dimension and it's almost become the standard on every bike.

Take a look at Polygon Siskiu D24X, Marin Rift Zone Jr, Rocky Mountain Reaper 24, Scott Ransom 600, etc.

Lots of good bikes to consider.

Thanks

Would the wheels, shock and fork swap straight over through if by some miracle I could find a frame?

Really disappointed that Zyrofisher can't get a new part from Norco for a 2020 bike, I mean that's bang out of order by Norco.

Now I need to find a 148 boost frame for 24" wheels...

Think it's time to cut my losses, what a shame

There is a very good chance that any Kids frame comparable to the Norco will fit those parts… if you can find someone to sell you a kids frame. I know the Rocky Reaper will fit that spacing. Their 24” and 26” are the same frame. You would have to check the shock fit per manufacturer specs. Our Reaper came with a 130mm fork, but the geometry has a fair bit of adjustment and you could likely get away with a 145 fork.

Have you tried buying a frame from Norco? That might be the most straightforward Solution. Your kid sounds like a beast if he’s already snapping frames though! Smile

What year is the bike? No warranty?

Why don't you call Norco direct and check with them. Chain stay or seat stay?

Thanks all

Bike is 2020

I'm the second owner. Norco only cover the original owner and will not sell me parts. Which I think is disgusting to be honest.

I'll break it for parts, and cut my losses. Not sure if there's much of a market for this stuff though as it's so niche.

I can't find any frames for sale that'll fit. What a bummer. Only had it 3 weeks.

They won’t sell you a replacement frame?!
That is stupid. They won’t hook up a kid? So f%#>ing lame.

Nope.

This is their response.

Hi Jake,

Thanks for providing your info, Our warranty only covers original owners only. We do not stock replacement frame parts of eth Fluid FS 24 for sale. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do to help you out with a secondhand product.
