Hi guys, i can't find anywhere air shaft for my fox 36 float fit rc2 26" fork. Is there any alternative like the new N/A springs? I really dont want the fork to be trashed, its like brand new. Any help would meant to me a lot.

Retro fit parts from other Fox forks, used of ebay for parts, switch out
air spring and convert to a spring Vanilla fork ?

My 2010 Fox 36 Vanilla R 180mm purchased of Ebay, had a surprise under the top cap,
Fox had long since discontinued parts for this fork, after about 9 months of frequent ebay look outs I stumbled on
a job lot of parts, amongst it was a top cap assembly, a short lived wahoo! as the needle adjuster within this
top cap assembly was missing, couple months later an Ebay listing for a Fox 32 vanilla top cap assembly
came up, I pestered the seller to measure the needle adjuster and it matched.

Now this Ageing 2010 Fox 36 Vanilla R 180mm is up and running again. You may have to either sit on it until something
comes up or sell it for parts.

Fox 36 van R damper Top cap Typical Ebay purchase
Busted Fox 36 van R shaft connection to top cap assembly
Ebay Fox parts bundle
Ebay sourced Fox parts top cap assembly needle adjusters

Call your regions Fox service center and provide your tune id and or serial number from fork. They will tell you if there are any upgrades or not. If not- reach out to Risse Racing in the USA. They still service a lot of the older forks that no one can get parts for- they may have what you need. Personally- I think its time to upgrade to something a couple years newer (2018 and up) so you get the latest tech, and can repair it down the road if you keep the bike.
