Apologies if this has been asked before but I could do with an answer from someone who has done this before.

If I change the chainring on a bike with a Shimano EP801 from 38t to 34t, do I need to get the bike spec setting adjusted via etube from 38 to 34?

If I dont will it throw up any faults? I cant see how it would but could do with hearing either way from someone who has already done this.

I think you don't need to do anything, it will just work fine
