15-years ago I destroyed myself on a DH bike in Whistler, I got out of the sport after and sold everything I had bike-related.

I started snowboarding again, while digging through gear I found a pair of BNIB Raceface launch pads in my garage and got the itch back. Tomorrow I'm buying old riding buddies Cannondale Chase 2 he had when we DJ'd.

I'm not coming back to send it and learn 50 new tricks, but want to get back into some lighter trail riding and dirt-jumping.

It's been so long, I'm forgetting the "go-to" spots, I know Penzer bike park in Langley has dirt-jumps. I'm stumped otherwise where to go. Most spots I knew have been removed/developed/destroyed. I am in the Surrey area, but can travel throughout the Lower-Mainland & Fraser Valley.

Penzer is pretty much gone.

Invergarry in Surrey
Vanier in Vancouver
Loutet in North van
Garden city in Richmond
Holly park in Ladner

Farther afield:
Whistler river jumps
Squamish casino jumps (behind chances)

On the island
Stevie smith bike park in Nanaimo
Jordie lunn in Langford
North saanich freeride
Cumberland

Places that suck
Burnaby Mountain bike skills park on Barnet (rebuild coming...)
Hope bike park (destroyed by surrons)

Oh yeah there's a spot under the queensborough bridge that is apparently in better shape than ever this year. (Haven't been there though.)

There's also a new indoor place in North van (NSBP) in the capilano mall, in an old sears.
