At What Point Does Mountain Biking Go From Inspiring to Unrelatable?
@lwkwafi: yes! That "Clever" edit has a 1 minute slow-mo of a T-bog. A T-bog is a very attainable trick. OK, 1 minute might be a bit much but damn, that is style on a different level.

At What Point Does Mountain Biking Go From Inspiring to Unrelatable?
whaaat... another hard disagree about Semenuk. I can see the point that "watching a million spins and barspins--(trick monkeys)-- isnt inspiring", but Semenuk's edits very much are inspiring. The absolute style and flow is immense. A simple T-bog with infinite style. I can go crappily ride the local jumps any time, but if i've just watched a Semenuk edit, the "dad steeze' that everyone sees in real life is 1000x better in my mind.

Public BC Dirt Jump Park Slated for Destruction to Make Way for Pickleball
Those dirt jumps suck, and they have for a long time. The city built crappy jumps, the city didn’t (pay anyone to) maintain them, the community didn’t maintain them (because they suck), and now they’re gone. The Pinto/shuttle bus analogy above is accurate. Jumps need a community of volunteers: it will be a rotating cast as people move away/get different interests. Jumps need city support: If the jumps are poorly designed (Richmond) they will need more city support. If the jumps are well designed (Vanier & Loutet) they will need less (or no) city support because the community will step up.

Social Round Up: Riders Are Already Going Huge at Rampage
@mi-bike: I agree: You don’t need “legal” survey type accuracy. But the advantage to the riders is minimal—unless they have real time speed feedback. Even then, I think most riders just say “thanks for the numbers” and then go ahead and rely solely on their intuition.
