Looking to pull the trigger on a Expert model. I'm 6'0" with 33' inseam. Everything points to size Large, but when I rode it, it felt a little compact. I'm coming from a Scott Spark and my initial thought was the handlebar was closer and the saddle to handlebar drop was greater than what I'm used to. I know there's tweaking that can be done and new bikes take getting used to. Thinking maybe 10mm longer stem and possible upgrade to carbon handlebar with a bit of rise.

Anyone my size riding Large and/or have tried and XL. Hard to think I'd be XL but looking for others experiences before spending a lot of money.

I'm 6'2", 34" inseam. Riding an XL, shortened the stem and 170 cranks. I just barely fit a 170 reverb but very happy with the XL.

You could go either way. With Specialized the size change happens from 6'0" to 6'1". I'm 6'1" in the morning and probably finish the day at 6'0" with a 32" inseam and I ride a L Epic 8 and S4 in other models. I also had a L Epic World Cup for what it's worth. The bike is long enough and so well composed at speed that going with the XL has never been a second thought for me.

Thanks... Did you keep the stock configuration (on the Large) with the stem and handlebars or did you opt for a longer stem, etc.?

I can't imagine riding an XL so I think worst case a 10mm longer stem and possible riser bar would do the trick.

I built both from frame and had the same Enve 50mm stem on them.

Modern geometry has changed sizing massively. I’m 176cm (5’9/5’10) and ride size large in MTB. 10 years ago, I’d be a Medium. In fact, recently I swapped a frameset for a customer under warranty (GT Sensor) in Medium and on test riding, it felt BIG!

At 6’ you might be more comfy on an XL , but depending on your riding style might like a slightly shorter wheel base of a L and then you can adjust the fit via stem and bars as you’ve suggested.
