I bought some travel spacers from S4 Suspension to get it from 175mm to 168mm, also bought a 5 mm spacer to get it down to 160mm just in case I want to go that route.
Are there any cons to doing this?
Shock is 205x65, 2.5mm and 5mm spacers on the way.

Just run the max stroke. There is no downside.
I've been running my Warden with a 205x65mm Bomber CR testing the Rockeater tunes for months. Normally I run a 205x65 Mara Pro.
