Has anyone else here ordered an Even Flow from Velouria Cycles?

https://velouriacycles.com/even-flow/

I’ve got a Medium on the way, expected to arrive sometime in December. Most of the parts are already sorted: Intend suspension and brakes, a Madrone/SRAM drivetrain, and a BikeYoke dropper. The only thing I’m still undecided about is the wheelset. I’m looking for something light yet robust, and I’m currently considering Newmen Phase 30 Base with PI ROPE spokes or the DT Swiss XMC 1200.

Looking forward to hear how you like it. A good looking bike!

My new Velouria Cycles Even Flow. For the cockpit I chose the Newmen Evolution SL stem which is extremely lightweight with no rider weight or usage limits. I prefer a high cockpit so I run Chromag FU50 bars. The stem cap is a beautifully 3D-printed titanium piece by Gravity Components.

Thanks! So far I’m really liking it.

I came from a RAAW Madonna, which is already a very capable bike, so I wouldn’t say the difference is night and day. More like small but noticeable improvements. The Even Flow feels a bit lighter on the climbs and a bit more composed and planted on steep technical descents.

A lot of that is probably the overall setup and sizing, not just the frame itself. But the rear suspension definitely works really well under braking in steep terrain. The Madonna was already good there, but the Even Flow feels like it tracks the ground just a little better.

The higher BB is a bit of a tradeoff. Pedal clearance is great, especially combined with shorter cranks, but balancing at very low speed feels slightly less stable.

I’m also running an Intend Edge fork, and that probably contributes too. In slow, technical terrain the front wheel traction and sensitivity have been excellent so far.

Overall it just feels like a very refined and confidence inspiring bike. Not magic, and my riding skills are still the limiting factor, but it definitely puts a big grin on my face.
