Raaw Releases UDH Retrofit Kit for All Jibbs & Madonnas
I find it a bit unfortunate that the upgrade is available only in the 445mm chain stay length of the size L. So you cannot keep the 440mm of the S and M or the 450mm of the XL if you want to upgrade to UDH. Will be interesting to see if RAAW also will go to a uniform chain stay length with the Madonna V3, or if there still will be size-specific chain stay lengths.

Hayes Bicycle Group Announces New Reynolds Wheels & Manitou Dropper Post
@DG370: The Divine also has a screw port at that location … I‘d still say that the Jack specified as having auto reset makes it more probable that it is based on the Divine.

Hayes Bicycle Group Announces New Reynolds Wheels & Manitou Dropper Post
@DG370: Probably it‘s the Divine, not the Revive. The Revive has the manual reset lever, which the Manitou does not seem to have. The Divine does the reset automatically every time you lower the seat.

Riding while Battling an Autoimmune Disease
I can relate very well, also having an autoimmune disease affecting the digestive system for a few years now. Mountain biking is one of the main things that helped me through, both in terms of motivation and physical strength to get through the severe flares. Causes of these diseases are mostly unknown. Genetics may be a part, and diet could be as well. However there are few reliable studies showing real impact of diet changes, the information you find is mostly anecdotal. A change in diet also has a placebo affect, which makes things more difficult. In my case fiber-rich food, lean meat (steaks!) and probiotics seem to have a positive impact, but I could be imagining that. ;-) I am very thankful for our good public health care system here in Austria. My doctor tried cortisone first, but it did not help, and then we went directly to the biologics mentioned in the article, which work very well, and the public insurance is paying without complaints. With the biologics I have almost no symptoms at all and can live a normal life.
