what are the advantages of rigid forks for dirt jumping?

You can generally get better pump on jumps with them as you have no suspension soaking it up and also they tend to be lighter so it could save weight.

Is 32:18 mot too easy, I find my 36:18 a joke, I spin out too much but as it's stock it's on the upgrde list.

I personally find running rigids improves technique, and eventually makes you much smoother. I also like that none of the 'pump' is lost through them. They're also lighter.
