Or shoot a tree a few times with a shotgun with a sign just below the holes...

Between that ^^^ or people that say "Oh yeah let me know when its build and I'll ride it". Hence why I'm aiming to build stuff in the middle of nowhere and only the builders can ride it
I feel ya, I don't tell anyone where I build.

Nothing wrong with casing as long as you grab a shovel and fix it. it depends on the trails as to when that gets done/ Straight after, or at the end of the day when everything gets tidied up

no they grommed up a wooden top to make the jump into a table.......

If it wasn't being used elsewhere I don't really see the problem - so long as they were genuinely trying to clear the jump and it was there for safety on the first few goes. Would be appreciated if they put it back afterwards though - instead of leaving you to do it. Blank Stare

I think most of the time the problem is that these groms never see the actual trailbuilders down there it actually doesn't occur to them that other people use the trails. Although some people are just genuine cretins that need to be drowned.

I'm tempted to leave a sign up saying "please don't climb on the jump", then a picture of the jump looking hagard with a big red X and next to it a picture of the jump looking sweet with a big green tick. Sounds obvious, but I wonder if these kids genuinely don't realise they're f*cking our shit up so badly...

no i really think they dont realize that what they are doing is wrong, what i was saying is we need some way for groms to learn the rules of the trails because they really do think that they arnt doing anything wrong. and unless you catch them in the act so you can tell them they will never know.

Haha I always end up fixing it myself when people case, then I know it's done properly. Doesn't bother me really accept when you get people who are totally out of there depth and case the first proper set 20 times in a row.

The local pumptrack is legal in council land, the sign says something along the lines of "Don't walk on the track", one time I was fixing some parts with some water before riding because it was really dry, and obviously I was on foot on the track. kid told me off Frown

I kinda admire the passion if they keep trying after the 17th, 18th and 19th time of casing it...

When I first started riding we went to this crappy natural tabletop thing. I must have cased every time for about 200 attempts before I cleared it for the first time. At that point I was like "YO."

From then on I understood what this shit was about. I genuinely bent my wheel back with my hands a couple times. Cost me £30 to replace that wheel with an identical shitty single walled beast.

Then I bought DMR wheels. YO.

I cased the jump a few times then I thought "if I go faster I might do this" then it was all about speed and pulling your bike up, until today I haven't learnt any new trick for the air, I want to learn tuck no handers but I'm a pussy when it comes to take something off my bike
