Its hard but... try and not take pictures with Power Lines.
They ruin everything personally. The house one looks pretty good. All around good job.

The powerline is supposed to be in the first photo becuase I thought it added a bit of character to the photo but thanks for your opinions anyway. And I think I'm gonna try and photoshop the pylon out of the second shot. Also I think the pictures need to be a bit lighter. Thanks for your comments anyway and I'll post the newer pictures up when I've finished

The 2nd, is good, but yeah, a tad dark and a lil harsh!

Do you have a higher-res version of the first one? (1280x1024 or larger)
I need a new wallpaper, but the expanded size is too small.

I think if you're going to have the powerlines as a focal point in the first one, you need to be closer to the tower so it takes up a little more of the picture and looks a little more imposing, but even still the first one looks great, so does the second one.
