My mates getting into biking and hes gonna get a new bike which one of these do you think are the best for him? He'll be doing st/dj/trails etc... a bit of everything really.

we have:

-Cannondale Chase 2 07

for sure the p2. specialized are wicked, the other ones arent that nice either. and specialized makes a better quality bike than the others.

well he doesn't have a clue because hes just starting. thats why he wanted some opinions on what the best bikes are for his price range. those are some I recommended.

well a norco rival is what i have 4 my first good bike and its really good and if hes like me and really gets into it he can upgrade it. i really like them

gett a specialised stumperjumper there quite cheep on ebay or get a hardtail specialised other gd makes are specialised as i said,scott,cannondale,GT,kona or treck

he will do mainly st/dj tohugh. Occaisionly trails. they've all got gears so Id ofthought they'd be fine.

I have ridden the Scott and the specialized and i would definately not get the scott, but the specialized is ok. Not sure on the Cannondale. But i would recommend the dmr drone or drone reptoid, heres a link

I think hes going for the Cannondale. Its only 700 down from 1050. Its looks great.
