Alright, I was reading a thread and there was a debate, well, argument, on the greatest tire combo. So put your riding discipline in, and your personal tire setup.

For XC:

Front: WTB Mutano Raptor or Exiwolf 2.3"

Back: Continental Speed King 2.1"

Kenda 2.35 Nevegal front and rear or Small Block 8 trail XC

Kenda Blue Groove 2.35 Kevlar for everything else on my hardtail
Specialized Roller 2.7 for packed DH
Kenda Kinetics 2.6 Kevlar for tacky DH
Maxxis Swampthings for mud DH
IRC Mud kevlar rear and Maxxis Swampthing front for mud DS

All mountian & trails

front continental gravity 2.35 @ 30psi
rear maxxis ignitor 2.1 @ 33 psi

the gravity is smallish for 2.35 but is predictable and gradual in a slide, and the ignitor seems to be wearing fast. i'm pretty happy but dont know if i'll go the same again, prob go tubeless

XC
front - Tioga 2.2
Rear - Specialized Resolution 2.1

xc and commuting - special Kenda Kinetics 2.1's.
dh - specialized chunderheads 2.5's. Most reliable tire I've found for not getting flats or cracking. Sometimes I'll switch in some 2.35 minions, but they don't last very well.
park - what ever is cheap. Currently some Haros.

XC combo, it's the best i've tried so far.
Front: Kenda Nevegal Stick-E 2.1
Rear: Continental Mountain King Protection 2.2
For those wondering why i've got the 2.2 in the back and a 2.1 on the front, the Mountain King is really undersized for a 2.2 tire, it's more like a 2.0.

Street and Dirt:
Kenda K-Rad up front!
DMR MotoDigger in the rear!

commuter
front Michelin Country Rock 1.75 possibly the best communter tire, fast with wet and cornering grip
rear Geax Country Rider XC/Touring 1.95 a good dirt slick with solid side wall knobs. after 8 months the centre line has lost most of its tread so its pretty fast now but still works off road on the trails

All mountain: front: michelin dh 32 a/t (26"x 2.8")

Rear: tioga blue dragon (26"x2.1")

Gazz 3.0 in the front and Minion 2.7 on the back. Its like surfing!
