Pro2 SS is steel cassette body, it's tough enough.

oh, didn't know that...

by the way, my rear wheel is lighter than my front wheel. that alone is a rolling advertisement for hope.

Profile SS hubs have a nicer sound imo.

about a ss hub, is it that much of an advantage that the spokes are even on both sides rather than off to the side like on a regular hub?

no dish builds a stronger wheel

That, and the farther apart the spokes are the stronger the wheel (which is why a 110mm hub isn't the greatest idea for a 26" street frame)

do you mean that you only need to buy 1 set of certain sized spokes ( eg 254mm )?? and also what size spokes do you need?

my only knock on the hope pro2 SS is that the stock alloy bolts that ship with the hub are rather garbage. my wheel was constantly slipping and I ended up partially stripping 2 sets of the bolts before swapping for some steel ones from the local hardware store.

Why not get a regular pro2 then buy a steel free-hub body separately.
Still be cheaper than the profile.
