all i can say is DONT BUY THE CRANK BROS. PEDDALS i have them and the sucj they start to rattle after a while and the seal went in 1 month dont buy them
Good spec. I actually read the thread and i learned that you already bought the 66. For a FR bike sounds like an awesome bike. I am glad to see that you got the ATA version good choice for the days you need to pedal the thing.
the Pedals are a good choice, i have them as well and they are awesome once the long pins are installed.
Is Diabolous the best choice?
I would go with Holzfeller OCT's or some Saints/Hones. Perhaps even the '08 XT's. Depending how hard of a rider you are.
Juicy's are sweet brakes, they might be my brake for next season that or the new Code 5.
What is the maximum travel that Vagrant can handle?
"The Vagrant is our alloy hardtail built for a multitude of riding conditions. Designed around a 160mm fork, the Vagrant is perfectly at home on almost any freeride trail but is light enough for long singletrack epics and all mountain rides. The frame is extremely stiff and agile for cornering and throwing the bike around which makes it incredibly fun to ride. For a great all-purpose bike that can hang with almost anyone, the Vagrant will not disappoint." http://www.transitionbikes.com/2007/Vagrant.cfm The Transition website says that the ideal fork for the vagrant is 160mm, so you could be go up or down 20mm and be cool. I am building mine with a 145mm Nixon. I hope this helps. -Cory
put white deity bars and stem hre sweeter than fun and if your wondering about the 50/50 pedals my friend has them they ride nice but straitline pedals are sweeter my other friend has them and they have no bearings so less to worry check it out http://www.straitlinecomponents.com/products/pedals.php
