I've also got an 05 Big Hit kicking around. It looks great and rides great, but is not a full blown DH frame and I sort of went from FR to DH riding full time last year, so it was new frame for me.

Probs around the £300-£400 mark. i wouldnt expect anymore than that seeing as you can buy the whole bike for around 750

to be honest even though i ride a new one i think the old ones look real beefy and more of a dh bike. i would probly rather have a new one but the old ones are so chunky and awesome!

Well, the older Big Hits were essentially specialized's flagship bike, wasnt until mid 03 that the demo's were starting to roll out, I remember reading about the demo 9 actually when it was still in concept, exciting and unique bike!. I was quite upset with the direction they took with the big hit though, the 01-04's are fantastic, the 06 one seemed ok, but it seems like they gradually scaled it down and down to a more affordable, less equipped bike.
