I use it for commuting in the winter, since it gets too cold for suspension components here. Just got some lizard skins lock-ons today Big Grin

My newest build. But am selling it. Theres no point to having a second 26" ssxc bike. Should have thought about that two months ago.

i just finished my build and was going to wait and post glamor shots but the weather has been crap and i'm a lil bored so glamor shots come in the spring. the frame is a 2001 Gary Fisher Genesis series frame. i was lucky enough to get the old 22mm brake with the frame and did a Frankin-brake for the rear with a newer hayes hfx-9 lever and the old 22mm hayes brake, i was stoked to have the original brake and didn't have to use a lame adaptor. i had nearly everything laying around for the bike so my total cost has been around $145 for the SS kit, Pro by Shimano Bars, and a couple small parts to get her running. glamor pics to come in the spring. oh and for a budget build it weighs around 26lbs so i'm not complaining. i need to rebuild the fork tho it feels like poo after 5 years of sitting and no maintenance love since 2001.

EDIT: pictures to come as soon as i resize them.
but links for them are:

Did you have to upload those ginormous pics? they take forever to load and slow the whole page down. Take em down and resize them.
