State Bicycle Co Release Affordable Entry-Level Fat Bike
I bought a moose cycles (canadian direct to consumer) fattie for commuting to ski on in Whis a few years ago. I can't recall what the geo numbers were, but I want to say it was if not progressive, but rideable. IE pretty long and not hyper steep, to the point it got taken down micro climate and wasn't actually scary. The equivalent is on offer now at 1000 USD.... https://moosebicycle.com/collections/fat-bikes/products/fb1-2023

Specialized Demo XL - 27.5 wheels

$2500 CAD
Winter is a fantastic time to buy a downhill bike. You can sit and look at it all season long congratulating yourself on what a financially astute move you've just made whilst waiting for the bike park to open. I have done the same thing with a new DH bike, as I decided I wanted 29 wheels and to make double black tech feel like lost lake. As rad as this bike is, and the temptation to keep it for lapping A line is strong (those little wheels hit just right...) that is a way too much fleet overlap so out the house it goes. It's got some scars but is in good working order, main thing to note is the rear wheel has as flat spot but it holds air tubeless still. Will want a replacement at some point but not urgent. Bearings all in good shape, hasn't really been ridden in the wet since they were last refreshed (along with bb). Compared to a very modern uber reach 29er barge this thing is quite lively and easy to jump off stuff - heaps fun! Lots of upgrades over stock, spec currently: - Ohlins coil shock - Deity bar, seat and seatpost - Brand new one up grips - One up composite pedals (10 rides old) - Hope Pro hubs on DT560 rims (debadged) - Cushcore in rear (10 rides old) - Specialized Butcher DH tacky casing (10 rides old) - Single speed set up (had a posh SB One version, it was shit and broke so $30 alfine and some zap straps have been going strong 2 seasons) - SRAM Code R brakes, new bleed, good pad life and 9/8" rotors F/R - Boxxer Race Fork 200mm travel Based in Squamish, will be in Whis to ski soon and periodically Vancouver as well. I will ship, if buyer arranges a courier pickup and everything, all I'd be willing to do is put it in a box and slap a label on it.
