It's a no go now anyways, I got the shop to call in with the cereal number and there is no record of anything being done to the fork, it's 100% 01.

that means nothing. I got a z.1 with some dj2 internals and a dj2 with z.1 internals..... do marzocchi have any records about it?? no, because it wasn't done at marz. only the internals will really tell you.

It means something when the original owner specifically stated that he sent them in to Marzocchi.

I've got an 03 Super T with brand new 08 lowers that zocchi knows nothing of, but I did not send it in to be done.

sorry didn't saw that before. then go with something else... maybe a newer shiver?!?Rolleyes

I bought my "new" shiver last summer for €200. It's a 2002 shiver and works great. Just had to buy softer spring cause I weigh about 20kg less than the previous owner.
Best buy of the year for me! I'd only change it for a black shiver or a 2007 Marzocchi Monster!
