I need to know the best stem - one of the best, that looks good as well as being good, mine is ugly and quite shit

i use a stone edge stem. love it more then any other one iv owned.. better then thompson i think.

the one above is really nice.
but i have a Holzefellar and i like it. alot.
or a hussefelt on my dj bike which i also like alot.
so i would say go for the best one of those two you can afford

and might i add that hussefelts and holzfellers are really inexpensive, you can get the former for around 20 bucks and the latter for around 40 or so from pricepoint. they're both solid stems that look great. i have the hussefelt on my p2.

yea but stuff is pretty expensive in SA.
the Holzefellar will be bout 57$, i think cuz i get it cost price so working at bout roughly double for retail

you can't beat the price of the truvativs stems. thompson is super light, but it only has 4mm bolts and twists around the steertube very easily. if you have a newer boxxer, check out the chromag box stem. it's direct mount, super stiff, wide clamping area and still nice a light.

Easton Vice, fairly light, good and strong, not overly expensive.
