Alright.

Lately, in almost every thread, people are quoting prior posts, to an extreme.

This is making the threads very messy, repetitive, and ridiculous to go through.


Here is the new deal:

1. When you quote, if there are pictures, delete the image tags. If you are referencing a specific photo, leave that one.
-Example-
Do it this way. All I did was delete the image. It's within the "P" tags.*

2. No more than two quotes re-quoted. No more of this quote-after-quote-after-quote bit. That means in the quote tags, there should be a max of TWO usernames.


3. If you want to respond to a specific poster, click the quote button, and delete everything BUT the users name. Also more commonly done as a "@username" .



It's really simple. It makes things easier to read.
If you have any questions, fire away.


*note- if you're thinking about being a smartass and say, quoting this post, I will just ban you, no second chances. So play nice. Ignoring/not abiding by this throughout the forums from now one will get you a warning, and if it happens several times in a thread, it'll get locked.*

Sounds good John. I'd go ahead and sticky it if I were you, hopefully this will put a stop to the gigantic quote pyramids we've been seeing lately.

If you'd like I can try to find a mod that'll prevent members from quoting more than twice. I installed it on my forum and it's made life so much easier.
