stretching is a great thing to do both before and after a ride. also strengthening your abs actually helps your back and your posture.

Try to improve your posture, lower back and ab strength on top of stretching.

If you don't strengthen you won't see results from stretching.

Yeah stretching really does help. I find riding generally crap like landing heavy or casing jumps really hurts your back so try and ride smooth.

once your back is better, give it some extra rest, then look into doing some core stability and strength exercises using gym and medicine balls, it's helped me no end!
