Off to White Swan lake sunday; and maybe farther east depending on smoke, fires etc; as of sunday. No heavy riding as I am still messed up from that last wipe out... Any suggestions and must sees in the east kootenays?

Cool, lots to see. Top of the world park is a great spot and close to White Swan. Findlay falls are cool too, west of Canal Flats. Fishing everywhere in that area, big bull trout in the Whyte and Kootenay. Are you taking bikes? Spirit trail from Fairmont resort is family xc. Fort steel closer to Cranbrook is cool to if you are into history.

Lussier hot springs and the creek beside it!
Zip line in Invermere

Yup both good, zip line at Fairmont also and is bigger. Both are pricey.

I was actually in that unicorn floatey this afternoon playing Marco Polo with my kids.

We rode the penticton winery trails today. They are in surprisingly good shape considering everything.

We also did the zip lines and enchanted forest thing outside of revelstoke this weekend. Talk about reasobanly priced!
(If you did talk about reasonably priced, this would not enter the equation.)

Hustler I think the egg is bloated and comparatively unattractive as a super hyper car.
Shreds Lykan bat mobile is cool, but I like the merc van more as well.
For me the 812 superfast or Porsches 911r are as close to perfect super duper cars as have ever existed.

Maybe if you want a race car for the streets. They advertise comfort items like sound insulation and more seat padding on that one. I think you could actually drive it.

Don't you go introducing pragmatics into my car porn. The Ferrari I mentioned was a GT......

Practicality doesn't usually count in thought exercises. Valid point.

Though, I might see myself in the car. I'm sure my wife has described a hungover me as bloated and unattractive at some point over the years.

Bloated and unattractive are the foundations behind why we buy cars like that in the first place.

How east in the Kootenays do you want to stay? I spent my summers growing up in the woods on the east side of kootenay lake. Right now will be a great time for amazing fresh fruit in creston, there's the glass house and the lighthouse as some notable points on the east side of the lake as well as some great beaches (including some nudies) and the ashram if you're into that kind of thing, Crawford bay has a lot of cool tourism thingies like glass blowing and ironworks, short ferry ride later and you got ainsworth and Nelson, but that puts you into the west.

Spend some time on that guys YT channel...lots of cool ass shit.

I hate him.

There's a guy who goes by salmondrin on YT. The first impression he made with me contained a strong odour of white sunglasses, disingenuously faded jeans and v neck t shirts. Not a good start. Be that as it may he's a dedicated car guy, and that character trait alone has me warm to many a doucheroni.

What would be your " stupid money" go to car?
Call me old fashioned. Singer built 911.

Lol east side of Kootenay lake is still west Koots. East Kootenay is actually Columbia Valley. Cranbrook north to Spillmachene.

Creston to Crawford Bay is very nice, and the road is one of the best in BC to ride on a motorcycle.

What a great choice. That's not what I call old fashioned. I call it refined. Those singers check off a lot of boxes in the " universal perfect automobile " classification. My choosing the 911r is likely based on a lot of the same reasons you leaned towards the singer. I just love Porsche for recognizing the value of a manual tranny and going against the PDK double clutch generation.

Will have to get back to the car stuff when time allows.....but yes, very nice choices Obee/Ajax.
911r stuff in a classic'er 911...could you imagine Helmet

I'm thinking like this: Unlimited moneys...one or more Wives, they get a vehicle, that is a throwaway...doesn't count off the list.
1-2 kids
So, at least one in your list has to accommodate the whole family...

1: SHC...Fave off the shelf Super Hyper Car

2: WWWC....Weeknight/Weekend Warrior Car..offtheshelf or Tuner branded

3: WWWC Dream Custom Build (full shop of Perfectionist Best in the World fabricators/tech guys..unlimited funds)

4: T is for Truck...has to be Daily Driverable if you had to

5: SLOT...Street Legal Offroad Toy

6: OEC...Offroad Expedition Camper, street legal

7: GRIND....9-5 Commuter

Zero fuks given for fuel mileage...fill all or none of the blanks...Your vehicles may cover more than one category.
