Amazing what a manufacturer's website will tell you about their product. And i thaught only the 13yo couldnt find stuff online. HAHA Dont get mad, im just trying to help, while poking fun. Not mad @ all. I did go to the website and looked around, but I never heard of mtb bb. I've heard of spanish, euro, mid. But what do I know, I'm new to the dirt/street scene. Used to ride bmx back in the day, then went to mountain bike, then focused on surfing. I've got an attention span like a ferret. I also like to hear from other people and not just from the manufacturer. Thanks for the info though.

Well a MTB BB is usually either a 68mm, 73mm. There are wider for DH frames eg 83mm,100mm even. But most DJ oriented frames have a 68 or 73 shell, thats why most MTB cranks are 68/73 compatible too. A 68mm is great cause then you can run most BMX type cranks. I do. If its a euro bb its a thread-on. Spanish and mid use direct bearings pressed into the frame without cups. Only there is a size differance on the outside of the bearing, mid being bigger. Spanish and mid bb are usually only on street frames, eg: NS Majesty. I run a euro bb with redline 22mm spindle on a 68mm euro on an NS Suburban. Same basic type of frame as the trailking, and i have had no problems. I also came from bmx to a 26" bmx. Hope I helped.

Ya, big time Thanks. Like I wrote, I'm looking to get back into biking (dirtjump/street). But i've been out of the picture for awhile. I would like to build one and call it my own, but there are so many companies outthere to chose from. One thing I know for sure is that I definitly would like to start w/ a cromoly frame. I've been looking @ the tonicfab howie and also the superco charger, both look good. Hey, I've got a question maybe you can answer. Most, if not all seat tubes are welded to the bottom bracket, but the superco charger has it's seat tube welded to the bottom tube before the bottom bracket, Do you think that it will make it a weaker point to fail? I checked out your MOB, and I've got to tell you that it looks sweet. Do you use it for park or a little bit of everything? Again, Thanks for the help.

Wow that Superco Charger is crazy looking. Im not sure about that bike, as in ive never seen it before. I would assume they did their reaserch and found it to be a good design? I dont know. In my opinion the seat tube helps in holding the bb from being pulled down. Im not sure, I dont really know what to say about that frame. Id look for reviews or maybe talk to someone that has one. The Mob is technically my girls mtb. I use it for trails mostly. Its kinda heavy but only I really jump it. Its fun on a BMX track. I stick to my Suburban 95% of the time cause I mostly ride stret and park.

Heya so I just got a TrailKing and the specs are kinda wrong, unless mine is way older. Actual top tube is 23.5, c to c. the dropouts are 14.75 to 15.875", the seat post size is 27.2mm, and the headset needs to be an integrated not standard 1 1/8. Ive only had a chance to ride it with the GI60 forks which are weird cause there is no rebound and they have a "pogo stick" feel to them. I am planning on putting a DJ1 on it soon.

I think you picked up the 2009... not quite identical to mine (i specifically requested 2010 so... i assume it is). Seatpost inner diameter is 25.4 like a bmx, my chainstays measure 14.875 with about 3/8 in from slammed, top tube measures 22.8 c to c. Also have 13.3 in bb height.

About the 60: How do you get your GI to move? Mine also is like a pogo stick but i cant get more than 15mm of travelBlank Stare ... I think my shoes are softer!

Edit for Joe: had it for about 4 months, zero complaints, except the paint- Somehow i've never had paint, only powdercoat- paint chips way easier.

I did notice they have serial numbers on the BB, maybe that will tell me what year it is.

Apparently the guy I got it from got it from a dude that works at Atomlab. So maybe its an early prototype? I dunno.

the bike changes with the seasons. mine has a 110mm headtube, newer ones have 100mm. It's a small company and everything is made individually anyways (i think). Some guy in detroit made the first 2010 protos, google trailking lhd
