sounds pretty freakin' sweet. I'd change the hubs... I hate shimano's. Personally I'd go for a novatec... I run 'em on my street bike, and my FR bike, and they're great.
Oh, and if you can find them, try the FUNN lock-on grips, I find they last longer, and the grip pattern's better.
I'm sure you'll have fun no matter what you choose... I'm a bit envious, not gonna lie!

Yeah maybe different hubs- I find that Shimano hubs break pretty easily.

As for what the user said 2 posts ago about disc size. 203's aren't a bad size and I don't think I have ever hit mine on a rock or stuff on the trail, I highly doubt you need one that big in the back though - even pro the pros don't run them that big in the rear (203 front and 160 back should have you covered).

Hey, Thanks for all the posts i'll go for the smaller rear disc and probaly change the hubs to.

the 170mm disks front and rear is better

What is the real difference between a Fox 36 Van and a Fox 36 Float is one more of a freeride fork?

yh def dont get totems they are designed for lite dh use and aggressive i meas aggressive freeride and they are pretty heavy and i would say they have excessive travel for a bottle rocket

Since this is my first FS bike i'm not sure about how you would need clean the shock. Is there anything you need to do do after a ride and how often would you need to service the shock. Also how often would brakes need to be bled.

Thanks

sounds pretty sick. the only thing i would change is the cranks, mabey to shimano deore xt or saint, some thing stronger and lighter. but other than that it sounds amazing

and the rotors, i would go 185 up front and mabey 185 or 160 in the rear

well the evlove is pretty light but the saints look so much nicer and lighter and stronger

Are you stupid?
A 40mm stantioned fork designed for light dh? I think not.

Ive got some totem coils on my bottlerocket and it feels bloody awesome! Best feeling forks i have ever used. a little slack for dj's but that doesnt bother me too much. And I would also say go for a roco tst instead of the dhx, the dhx doesnt perform so well when paired with the bottlerockets strange linkage design, it means that it bottoms out super easily and feels harsh most of the time when riding dh, because the roco runs on a shim based system (I think) it copes a lot better with dh duties as its plush all they way through the travel. the tst function also sounds pretty cool too
