Ok i need an idea for something to make in shop class.
i was planning on making a ramp (kicker) but my teacher says its too easy
i would like to make something a bit more challenging but still bike related
preferably something i can ride

From the sounds of it we are talking wood shop?

If you're doing metal work I would make a nice hitch (or box) mounted bike rack. I really wish I would have done that in high school.

yup its wood shop
but i guess i could learn how to weld cuz we have a welder in the shop too
i dunno
i need something really cool but challenging too
i was thinking like an adjustable height kicker but its probably too easy

What about a repair stand if you can use the welder? If it is a wire feed machine as long as you can pull the trigger and point the gun in the proper direction you can stick stuff together well enough to use as a bike stand.

like a bike stand will take like one day to make

If you can make a decent repair stand in one shop class while never having welded in your life I would like to see it when you are doneWink

build a series of wooden jumps and skinnys throughout your shop and then drop in and bust large tricks on the last day, have fun getting it all home though

where the two sets of supports meet the top section there will be bolts going through with extra holes incase i want it steeper

Putting it at the top won't work, you won't have enough length to make any adjustment.

You just said you are going to "put bolts at the top with extra holes" to make it steeper.....where do you plan on putting holes at the top?

They have to be in the middle with a telescoping 2 piece leg on each side.

you could put a hinge on the bottom then have another leg on that, so you could open it to make it higher.

or you could make two curved legs, then when you slide out the legs the leg will slide out. it needs to be curved because if you make a sliding straight leg, the bottom of the leg will be on a point.
