A little dicussion... Wich one is the strongest downhill bike ever? Post your fotos and give your opinion...


Mine as sufered a lot in the past 4 years and still rolls with minimal damage...

I thought several times in changing the frame model or the all set but this one never failed me. So why change what's perfect...

this is a very good question, i am riding a spec demo 06, togh as f*ck. still i wanna get new frame, which one is strongest of all??

If you think a bike is a dh bike because of its rear suspension...think again. Suspension does 2 things, Keeps your bike in contact with the ground giving you more control, and compensates for your mistakes. Just because its a HT does not mean it's not a dh bike.

I have my Imperial set up with a full dh setup that would put some race bikes to shame, but I've also seen street setups and it still kicks ass. I've heard rumours about them being used for trials and all mountain as well. Simpily, the frame can be used for anything with the proper build, but its been most commonly built up as a dh rig. Rant over.

I just realized that the thread title says "on the market" since the Imperial isn't being produced anymore does that mean its off the market?

ok man, you are right on everything, but nowadays who competes with a HT on a DH race?? just want to know which frame in ur opinion is the strongest on the modern DH market.

jan karpiel tho owner is from europe but the bikes are made in the US

ive broke my scream in three spots and i still ride it. from what ive been hearing from other riders its common for them to break.
