Long before the gates for the fifth and final stage opened.
Anita Gehrig focuses on the next couple of hours.
There's always time for some style during the practice rounds.
The final stage alternated between open sections and forest sections. Obviously Adam Craig liked that and ended up with 8th place this weekend.
By all appearances Jerome Clementz is unstoppable, but as they say, don't count your chickens before they're hatched.
Nico Lau gets double checked at the lift entrance. Fortunately his lift pass was valid. After all stages he is in 14th place. There is only one race left in North America, and then the EWS will return once again to France.
There were many different lines to go on stage 5, some of which lead to wet photographers.
Fabien Barel had a strong showing, but had to give in to Nico and Jerome.
Only 4 seconds ahead of Fabien Barel, Nicolas Vouilloz defended his second place in this race.
There were not that many fans on the track, but those who were there did a really great job!
Some guys also went crazy during the racing round. So did Nicolas Quere.
Joey Schusler in the woods. He finished the race with a well deserved 6th place.
The young gun Martin Maes earned his 7th place in the open men ranking. RESPECT.
Aaron Breadford ended up with 4th place riding a totally new BMC Trailfox 29" prototype this weekend. He told us that he got the frame on Thursday and decided to race it after two test rides. The official launch will happen at the Whistler stop of the Enduro World Series.
Tracy Moseley had a lot of speed in an open section! But she did not finish stage 5 in first place.
First place for the final stage went to Anne Caroline Chausson.
Who might this bike belong to? Is it a prototype?
If the course marshal wasn't busy reading the Sunday comics he'd see Tobias Woggon unleash some style on this jump.
Tracy and Jerome right before the podium. Due to heavy rain the podium had to take place inside.
Anne Caroline Chausson was happy about some good pictures of her on the final day.
I think there definitely needs to be some more world cup level enduro races held on this side of the pond, Colorado alone has the potential to host an entire series of its own haha.
yup, agreed.
Happy to see WP gets its shot, cant wait for the new expansion plans to see what else they're going to open in the coming years. Love that place
I hope we could see others environments like this in the future EWS.
A good week-end for the chikens.
