With the track receiving plenty of moisture all week the rain clouds cleared and revealed perfect weather for race runs on Sunday.

Even with the sunny skies on Sunday the 'soup du jour' was still mud.

Pat's Peak ran the exact same track as the previous year which everyone seemed to be happy with. The only difference being that last year the track was bone dry. Unique to the venue is a best of 2 runs format, love it or not. The common thread seemed to be a safe run to start with a few seconds being shaved off in run #2.

The track pretty much covered all the bases as far as conditions go. Dry and dusty up at the top, tacky in the middle, and slop at the end.

Yeeew! Congrats Steve on getting 4th! Good thing the trail dried out a bit before the race, that woulda been a muddy buddy.
