The Enduro Meeting has moved the mountain trails from Cordoba in Argentina last weekend. Bikers from all Argentina, Chile and Panama arrived to the Cabana Bikepark to enjoy this first Enduro party. 100 lucky participants faced a 30 kilometers course, with 850 vertical meters to be overcome in five stages. The Enduro Meeting offered five hard transition stages and others five Special Stage (TC). The five hard transition would test the riders indefinitely with 40-60 minute rides between each stage. The weather was great, dry, which allowed very fast trails.
After a technical talk was given to the race start.
The beginning was a great climb to the TC1. The slope was quite stable, rugged and small breaths. The important thing was to keep a good rhythm.
Much flow to be the fastest in the 5 stages (TC)
The trails were specially developed for this competition with a lot technical sections, with some drops and rock gardens that made the trails super fun, complicated and technical. Sebastian Gonzalez (Ibis Cycles) on one of the drop sections.
Fast and controlled Renato Lombardi on one of the drop sections.
The Pro rider Jeremias Maio (Team Zenith Cycles), that came from the province Rio Ceballos in Cordoba got the podium with 00:15:46 final time.
The Pro rider Santiago Santiago (Team Zenith Cycles) was willing to take the Enduro Meeting but the TC3 rock garden played a trick on him.
Stages four and five both have sections where you're zipping through the narrow corridors between the trees.
Rodrigo Nuno (Yeti Cycles) from Chile ended
#4 on Master A. His first experience in Cordoba trails.
The winner of the Master A Marcos Villa Kenning (Commencal) leading the peloton in the stage of transition to the TC2 aboard his 29er.
Santiago Santiago (Team Zenith Cycles) drifts through the dust towards on the TC5.
This event is the first one in his class, and was organized to set a legacy in Argentina. The organizers hope to see this event growing on a steady pace year after year. The Enduro Meeting will be announcing the Enduro Meeting Series Championship in 2014, with many more races around the country.
Master B winner, the legendary German Garcia
