Update from KBC-2007

The snow is melting and KBC is off to its earliest opening ever. Devon and Chuck took a trip out to the lake March 10th to see how things are looking. Well, lucky we brought the bikes along just in case. The ‘Orchard’ was in ready to ride form. We took a couple of passes through and it felt good!!! We even made our way up the mountain and scoped out a new addition to the trail network. We found a section that is going to be a lot of fun. The ground is ready to build so we’ve got it dialed. We already have our first group rolling through on March 24th so it’s time to kiss winter… good bye sucker! We’re planning for some heavy riding on the Easter Long weekend. Never too early to get started…right?

This year we’re planning for a couple of tours that start and finish in Calgary. This will really give you a taste of all the great riding in BC. Plus, if you’re flying in from another part of the planet… we can pick you up at the Calgary International Airport. Talk about service.

We're really excited about our new sponsors for this year too.

Brodie has come on board and are looking after our bikes as well as rentals. A great Canadian bike maker who really understand how to build a great bike. www.brodiebikes.com

Sombrio is looking after our riding gear. Super stoked to be working with the great people at Sombrio. They have always been the leaders in cutting edge biking wear. Now just to get Dave to get the spandex rolling!!!! www.sombrioracing.com

Full Boar Bikes has long been a big help in keeping KBC in great running shape. OGC is helping out Ol’ Boar to set us up with GIRO lids and all the extra. www.fullboarbikes.com

Volume Apparel is a new clothing shop in Kamloops and is going to help us out with glasses, goggles and watches.
