Let the Kids Ride FREE

Oct 3, 2013
by Mountain Creek Bike Park
This Saturday marks the 10th Annual IMBA Take a Kids Mountain Biking Day. To celebrate Mountain Creek Bike Park is allowing all kids ages 12 & under to ride for free when they are accompanied by an adult. Dads, moms, aunts, uncles, grandparents, come on out and ride with your kids. There is no better way to spend some quality time in great outdoors than from the saddle of a mountain bike. Get out and ride!

In addition, Mountain Creek will be offering a Free Grommet Group Ride at 11AM – participants should meet at the Cabriolet Gondola at 10:45AM to join in. Come out and meet the pros! Mountain Bike legend and New Jersey native, Jeff Lenosky will be in attendance on Saturday leading group rides and training for Sunday’s King of the Mountain Enduro race.

Mountain Creek Bike Park is proud to be growing the future of east coast mountain biking and as evidenced by this video the future looks very bright…

Damn, those kids are better than me. And I love how they still included the kid at the back, he clearly isn't as good as the others but they still let him be in the video which I think was really nice!

the future of the sport right here, im proud to be the parent of one of these little guys

As the parent of one these little guys I can tell you I am far from rich. I'm very lucky to have my son take an interest in a sport I've been involved with for over 25 years. As for the other parents all I can say is that I admire the support, dedication and sacrifice they make to give their kids the best possible chance to succeed. koodos to Mountain Creek Bike Park and all of it's dedicated staff that make it a great place for riders of all ages, abilities and bank accounts.LOL.

I agree dude, we are far from being rich too but if your kids can ride well they can't have crappy bikes to ride as they would fall apart. If you rip, you rip & you need the right kit.

Yesss little shredders !! Shred on! Salute

This is very hopeful for me.. I believe (as a kid myself) that kids should get into dh more. Its amazingly fun and really helps me cope with problems. I wish people could help kids buy bikes.. like a fundraiser, but it will never happen. I could surely use some help buying a bike, because some kids don't have rich families.. including me. I love downhill, but its dangerous when you aren't using a bike made to handle it. (My walmart bike)
I just wish people cared.

Big ups to the little dudes!!
My little 10 yr old son shreds on his Mondraker Play 24 so we've got him a Spesh SX Trail for his Xmas & Birthday present which is in the loft for the next couple of months. Just built some 24" wheels so he can grow with the bike. It's a sweet bike & the discs are nearly as big as the wheels now.
