Sunn's 2007 Kern and Radical

So many things have changed here over the last year. And you can expect us to come back with some really nice stuff in 2007, and during the years to come.

You may have known Sunn during its shinning years, end of the ninetees, with all those DH riders who won titles on the legendary Radical Plus.

The guys (and the girl) who have been titled World Champ with the Rad' at least once, and in junior and/ or senior category! Check the list :

Anne caroline Chausson (something like 5 titles with the Rad', and a few World Cup overall wins) François Gachet (World Champion + World Cup winner - 94 on the first ever Rad +) Nicolas Vouilloz, Cedric Gracia, Fabien Barel, and Mickaël Pascal to name a few.

For 2007, the Rad' is back, in a new stuning version which recalls The Legend !

We showed the radical for the first time last week-end in the bigger european event, the Roc d'Azur. We had as well our new all mountain bike, the Kern, based on the same suspension system (but different linkage), and the Kern LT has been shown in the London Show.

A few things to know about those bikes :

Radical

As you can see on the pictures, the general design recalls the former Radical Plus.

Our suspension system allows us to seperate the front and the rear triangle : we can make very small sizes for example. The system gives the bike a very low gravity center : good for handling ! 190 mm travel : this bike is fully designed for DH racing, not free riding. It's a pure race bike !
And the weight : 16,5 kg with pedals !

Kern

photo

Looks like a rad, but it's a pure all moutain bike. Designed to climb also.
Seems to be very efficient when you have to pedal...140 mm travel... and 11,5 kg with pedals !!!

Kern LT

photo

Same as the firts one, but more enduro orientated. 165 mm travel : 12,6 kg

And you can also check the rest of our range, with the Forest Jump (free ride HT bike) and the Drac (Dirt bike) on our websute (only in french right now) :

I'd like to see your Engineering degree. Sure it will bottom out but is still good for more then DH racing. This bike has none of the problems that other dh bikes have. Like wieght, bb hieght, and frame angels that add up to be too single purpose and even fail to be an advantage on some courses.

Tingey Biker, that makes absolutely no sense at all. What does that even mean? Do you understand the fundamentals of how idiotic that is? Anything can bottom out because no suspension can be infinite. Please tell me you grasp that. Besides this bike is lame for anything other than racing. Study Engineering a little before you go buying crap bikes because they look neat.
