Fancy racing from The “French Riviera” Alps to the Mediterranean Sea?

If so get your Mankini packed, legs shaved and you're off.. Who will be with you? Frenchman Julien ABSALON (Orbéa) Gold Medalist at Beijing and Swiss Nino SCHURTER (Swiss Power) Bronze Medalist. Get clipped in now...The Alpes Maritimes offers a wealth of scenic views and terrain, going from mountains to forests, from valleys to plains as 500 race competitors battle with each other and themselves.

The race dashes from La Colmiane and will take the South Cape through Crest Patches (Tinée & Vésubie). Later it will pass through the fortress of Brec d’Utelle, will climb the plateau of Madonne d’Utelle, then with pace into the Forest of Levens to approach the dry hills of Mont Cima just before the last ascent of Mont Chauve.

Then the fun, down into a technical single track to Nice and finish along the sea shore for the final section by the bed of the River Paillon.

There will also be a large expo area in the heart of the Promenade des Anglais.
