It's 2008 and time to get back on that park bike!
The Winter Splinter MTB Park competition is back on track and it's going down Sunday February 24, 2008 at the Factory Skatepark in Newnan, GA. The Winter Splinter is an indoor jump jam/bike battle type of competition for 24” and 26” wheel bikes. We are adding an additional class this year, which means there will be more winners and more opportunities to take home prizes. There will be an amateur, expert, and pro class, with amateur and expert winners taking home awesome prizes and the pro class will get cash prize payouts.
Hooters and Red Bull girls will be present!Aside from having a great time with your fellow riders, we have a ton of prizes offered by the many generous sponsors.
To whet your appetite, here is a list of the prizes you can expect to take home:-Black Market gear totaling $1500 (big thanks to our friend Carter Holland) including a Riot build kit, Riot frame, and many parts!

-Hooters wing packageThere will be a practice/warm up session starting at 10 am where you'll get to feel out the course, find new lines, and meet with the other riders, including some pros like Adam Hauck from Black Market and Dirty Nick from Eastern 26 who won the Winter Splinter 2006. The contest starts at 12 noon, and should be done by 5 pm.

Spectators will be charged $5 a head by the skate park, a small fee to pay for letting us have the entire park all day.
