This Sunday, January 19th, the Airdrie BMX Association opens up the Didsbury Indoor BMX track to the mountain bike community. Here's your chance to get some much needed interval training on the dirt racing your bros on the BMX track. Bing your wife, bring the kids, bring your parents, just come out and ride a stellar track in downtown Didsbury. Prepare for next week's Biker Cross at COP by banging elbows across the jumps and in the turns with your fellow mountainbikers!

There's some very important information in the [Read More] section, so read on my brothers and sisters.

See you at the track! Who: Anyone from age 5 up.

What: 4X/BMX format. 3 heats, Semis, and Main (Provided we have #'s)

Registration: 11-12 Race 1pm Sharp

Location: Didsbury Indoor BMX Track. Didsbury AB 85 KM NW of Calgary.
Track is located in the Agricultural Building Across from the RCMP station.
Head into town, turn right before the RR tracks, 300M down the road on the left side. Big White Building.

Cost: $20

Day Waivers: NO LICENSES REQUIRED!

Gear REQUIRED: Full Face Helmet. Top tube and stem padding. (Towels, foam, anything will do, but you must have padding!) Long pants and long sleeve shirt.

Categories to be determined. If we have enough riders we can go u-15, 15-17, 18+, and Masters. Otherwise it'll just be u-17 and 18+.

Prizes: I've got a few draw prizes from Kev @ the Bikeshop.

Other than that it's all for glory.

Why?: A chance to get out in the middle of January and race on the dirt. Good opportunity for some dirt jumping too.

Come out and have some fun. Check any attitudes at the door!

Remember there are lots of kids under 14 at BMX races so please be courteous and cautious while you ride!!! (Editor's Note: Most of them could probably spank you on the BMX course without breaking a sweat!)

Thanks to the Airdrie BMX Association for allowing us to run our own categories in with their BMX race!!!
