Return of the Zeros - Teaser Inside

It’s when the leaves turn brown, the temperature drops and the rain starts to fall that the new video season begins. Titles such as New World Disorder and North Shore Extreme begin to line the retail shelves.Last year we introduced a film called Changing of the Guard. We sold out of all our DVD’s, which meant that it was time to do another show. With the success of CoTG we were able to round up a little more dough to make the production that much better. After the surprise hit of the Super Zeros on 10-speeds riding through the Shore last year, we thought it best to bring them back and call the video “Return of the Zeros”. Not that it is all about them, far from it, but it sounded better than Changing of the Guard II.

We spent some time on Vancouver Island this year, introducing a rider named Kyle Hansen. Kyle showed us the unthinkable: a 28-foot roof drop and a 30” X 25” step down gap all done on a single speed Balfa hard tail. I also went to Toronto to film the Toronto Superfest, showcasing Aaron Chase and Eric Porter just to name a few. Later in the summer we packed up a rental truck and went into the wilds of Cache Creek, Pemberton and Lilloet with Brian O., Race Face finalist Ryan Hayes and newcomer Ryan Newman. I love it when an unknown steps up to the plate and rides on a professional level. Mr. Newman is another name you will start seeing more often. We were also privy to poach all the new Whistler alpine where there are rock wall-riders, steeps and cliffs aplenty.

With more riders, plenty of surprises, World Cup action, some 16mm thrown in for the pimp factor and not to mention mullets and 10-speeds, Return of the Zeros will keep the stoke up long after the snow falls and last run is called.
