Local boy, Danny "Huckin' Bitch" Laroche is in
prime shape and says "50 feet in the distance jump. No problem".

Kenny "Flyin Midget" Dowdle will be parking his
BMX for the night and showing ya Freeride/DH punks what airs are

Damian Carson is taking a day off practicing for the World's
Nordic Championships in Finland and will show all ya posers what
skills he's brings across from the 90m Ski Jump. (He's on the

Mike Kinrade and the Nelson boys are confirmed. Kinrade (Hidden
Pleasures fame, 2001 Norco Freeride team, and work in NWD),
will be pushing the envelope. Video

J Christianson and a bunch of the Banff/Canmore
boys are registered and heading into town to make all the
city folk (and I quote) "squeal like a pig".
These are only a few. As of this morning, there are 400 registered
spectators and competitors for the Festival.
This is going to be the biggest party in town.
