Limited Edition Kona Stab Supreme gets World Championship Makeover

Ferndale, Washington (March 16, 2005) – Throwing fuel on the debate over whether it’s possible to improve upon perfection, Kona’s World Championship winning Stab Supreme downhill bike is getting a facelift for the final production run of the ’04-’05 season.A Limited Edition run of Stab Supremes will be produced as Kona Les Gets Factory Team replica bikes to commemorate team rider “Hurricane” Fabien Barel’s Les Gets downhill World Championship win in September of last year. The team replica bikes will feature a bomber new World Champion rainbow paint scheme, bright orange Sun MTX rims and an optional sticker kit, including stickers from team sponsors Les Gets, Shimano, Hayes, Fox and Race Face.



The Special Edition team replica bikes will be available in the United States, Canada, The United Kingdom, Russia, Switzerland and Japan, and will start appearing at stores in April.
