MICA SPORT TO DISTRIBUTE SCOTT BICYCLE PRODUCTS IN CANADA

SCOTT USA announced that MICA SPORT CANADA INC., would become the exclusive distributor of SCOTT bicycle products for Canada. Lutz Brode, President said, “Over the years I have had the opportunity to witness the phenomenal growth of SCOTT bicycle products in the world market. Since last year’s re-introduction of Scott bicycle products into the U.S. marketplace, we have had an overwhelming amount of interest from dealers hoping to be a part of this growth. The SCOTT cycling brand will be well represented at the Montreal BTAC bicycle trade show this fall. Distribution of a very limited number of SCOTT bicycles will begin this week to fill back orders of a very selective number of retailers to expose the market to the merits of SCOTT bicycles. Derek Lee, owner of Calgary Cycle said, “We are ecstatic to get a limited supply of 2005 SCOTT bikes delivered for this season, which is just hitting stride.
