Yeah that was a long lunch break, but really I was hungry and needed proper nourishment. The things you won't find in Vegas are sleep and proper eating, cause you'll be too busy taking it all in too eat and then since you don't want to miss anything, you'll simply sleep less too. Well now that I've eaten and feel much better, it's time to give you the last installment of the show known as Interbike.Carter from Black Market had his frames on display at the Deity and S&M booths. He also had a sick new stem on display:

Carter had this to say about the new stem: "We also are starting production on the Underboss stem which is CNC'd 6061 aluminum with 4 mm bolts, the Underboss comes in 50mm reach with 13mm rise and 25.4 barclamp. The Underboss only weighs 197grams and will be available in black or silver. We will also be doing a zero rise version soon."

And he also had some updates on the changes to the 2006 frames: "The changes for 2006 are new wider bb(73mm) whichs allows us to provide more tire clearance without the use of yokes or cutting or dimplling the chainstays. A brake booster and new olive green color. All of Blkmrkt products are available thru blackmarketbikes.com or at your local bike shop.

I headed over to the Haro booth to see what's up with one of the strongest teams on the Norba and WC circuits in both XC and DH disaplines.

Haro S-Werx VL-120 Sonix: virtual pivot moves in a half orbit around the b.b. to eliminate pedal-induced bob, while leaving the rear wheel free to respond to the terrain.

Cody Warren just won the US Nationals on this ride a few weeks ago. The .357 Magnum is the frame that Mick Hannah and Cody Warren have been crushing the competition on all season. It's a single pivot design the features B.B. height and chain stay length adjustments and an optional floating disk brake caliper.

Off to the Cannondale Booth to see what they have going down for 2006. Things were looking really good with a few new signature models and refinements to an already great line up.

Steve at 5:10 was on hand to show me the Nathan Rennie and Sam Hill signature series shoes. These shoes were made exclusively for the racers, so don't go looking to order up a set with colored stitching for yourself. You can however join the growing group of us that are rocking the all black, sticky as hell, long wearing Impacts.

Where do aspiring mechanics go to get better? Well they go to the best place around-United Bicycle Institute and there they will be taken care of by the owner himself.

On my way to my last appointments of the show I couldn't help but stop and stare at a few items in the Surly booth. What exactly is the Pugsley for? Oh but the flask, there's an essencial item for any town bike.

Well I'm off to see SRAM, Manitou, Santa Cruz, Norco, Iron Horse, Marzocchi and Giant. See you all later,
