Czech Enduro Series: Season 2020 Recap

This year wasn't easy but we were really happy that in the Czech Republic we had a great enduro racing season. Despite the situation in 2020 we managed to held 6 races in all the corners of our tiny country which was a huge accomplishment for us and for all the riders who attended the races.



Season kicked off in the venue that became very popular very fast. Klínovec is known for its harsh and unpredictable weather no matter the time of the season. Weekend started dry which was good for training but the race day brought a quite good amount of rain and mud. Over 400 racers battled these conditions in five stages. As this race was EWS Qualifier Event, competition was really high and everyone was pushing for valuable points.

Second race took place in the well established venue for the Czech Enduro Series. Zadov is situated on the border of the Šumava National Park which brings everything you need for an awesome enduro race. Summer was in a full swing and everybody was hungry for racing. Tracks are little bit shorter but more technical and that makes racing interesting.

The third race of the season took place in the northeast of the Czech Republic, in the midst of beautiful Jeseníky Mountains. Nutrend Enduro Race Kouty is one of the longest and hardest events of the Czech Enduro Series. Fresh and loamy tracks waited for over 450 racers including kids.

Racing around Ještěd brings fast stages with roots and rocks mixed with bike park features. Last year it was snowing during the first couple stages turning them into mudslides, but this year was hot and dusty. You decide which weather is better to race in.

Enduro Race Morávka is known for a big racing venue for kids. This year we had almost 100 kids at the start gate which is awesome for the next racing generation. Three stages for kids and six stages for adults winding in the beautiful Jeseníky Mountains.

Špičák lies deep in Šumava Mountains and it is surrounded with numerous peaks. Five stages from every single peak around Špičák. Stages are long, some are loamy, some are really technical and challenging for every participating rider. Simply great EWS Qualifier event!
