FRAEZEN has specialized in high-end parts for MTBs that meet the highest quality requirements. The company’s headquarter is located in Southern Germany – it includes an experienced in-house production team enabling the greatest possible flexibility for adjustments up to series manufacturing. Their close customer proximity with regards to development and production makes it possible to build the best parts for both professional athletes and MTB enthusiasts - durability, functionality, simplicity. That's why the parts are tested under the circumstances they are made for: the World Series Racing.

FRAEZEN BLOCK:

Slim, elegant, durable. The FRAEZEN stem BLOCK is developed and optimized for Enduro riding. It meets all ISO standards and has a downhill approval.
It is the first offset specific stem on the market.

photo

Characteristics and variants:

BLOCK is available in the three most common offset lengths of 37, 44 and 51 millimeters. Why so? This ensures the same relation between the screw connection of the handlebars and the hub axle. Which means that the optimal handling ratio is achieved. FRAEZEN generally recommends running at least an offset length or one number larger. However, for small riders and a playful preference, it can also make sense choosing one size smaller.

With a rise of 7.5 millimeters, you can ride one spacer less under the stem. This increases rigidity and reduces weight.

FRAEZEN deliberately opted for a 2-piece stem. On the one hand, this makes BLOCK
more interesting for shops, since it can be switched easily. On the other hand, any handlebar rise can be ridden.

FRAEZEN KAEFIG:

Rear derailleur cage machined out of a single block of aluminum.

Unique one-piece design, plus increased stiffness and more durable construction.

KAEFIG is a derailleur cage built for a wide range of use from XC to E-MTB. It is available for Shimano 12-speed as well as SRAM 12-speed (X-Sync).
The one-piece design allows to achieve significantly higher stiffness values leading to increased shifting precision at the same weight. Further, the cage is really hard to destroy -this means annoying defects can be excluded. The focus during development has clearly been put on a durable design. For this reason, FRAEZEN has decided to not focus on ceramic bearings with lowest possible friction, what comes with a lot of clearance. Instead, precise ceramic hybrid bearings are installed, which are opened during assembly and regreased with synthetic Molykote grease. Greased bearings are a decisive factor for longevity in mountain biking.

For the SRAM cage, FRAEZEN has come up with an option to install the cage with more spring tension. Through a second hole, the spring is preloaded by 90° more.
Of course, FRAEZEN was focused in developing a unique design.

FRAEZEN BLATT:

With the chainring, FRAEZEN has come up with a design that stands out directly.

The teeth have often been optimized in order to minimize a chain drop. The teeth do not conform to the standard, whereby the chain would be in the "belly" of the chainring. With such a tooth shape, the chain tends to fall off in hard terrain due to a loose fit.
Rather, FRAEZEN goes over two-contact points, thus the chain sits more securely, very precise and without play on the chainring. In addition, the pitch diameter is reduced when turning a chain link, with less friction when pedaling.
Separate teeth were developed for Shimano and SRAM, as the chain inner widths are different.

The chainring was tested by professional team riders for half a year without a chain guide, including terrains like in Finale Ligure. The chain did not fall off once during testing period.
The spoke design gives the chainring a unique look and at the same time increases the stiffness. The chainring is available for SRAM and Shimano crank, each in the sizes 30t, 32t, 34t. In addition, the BLATT will be also available for 104 BCD standard.

Milled out of 7075 aluminum.

FRAEZENs derailleur hanger offers excellent durability and resistance to loads and external influences.

The UDH derailleur hanger guarantees reliable and precise shifting performance. Even with impacts or crashes, it hardly bends, which minimizes annoying shifting problems.
